Doc dr
Natasa Raicevic spent 2 weeks (6 to 20th of June, 2004) in
Hamburg
at DESY Institute (http://www.desy.de)
working on H1 experiment
(http://www-h1.desy.de)
which performs fundamental research in the field
of High Energy Physics (HEP). H1 detector is one of
the big experiments taking
data with colliding positron-proton beams at HERA
(http://desyntwww.desy.de/hera/).
During her stay dr Raicevic participated at H1
Collaboration meeting which
was held in Hamburg during this period. Collaboration
meetings are dedicated
for intensive exchange of knowledge between physicists
from H1 about not
only topics related to H1 physics, but also about current
the most actual
topics in the field of HEP.
Dr Raicevic had the following presentations during the
Collaboration
Meeting:
- 14.06.2004. - Trigger (http://www-h1.desy.de/itrigger)
Meeting -
Status report on triggers for nELAN working group
for 2004 data;
- 15.06.2004. - nELAN working group (http://www-h1.desy.de/h1work/inc/)
meeting - Status report on DIS low Q2 analysis for data
from 1999/2000
(attempt of using BST detector for analysis of data from
1999/2000).
- 17.06.2004. - Collaboration Board of H1
(http://www-h1.desy.de/h1/www/general/cbmembers.html)
- Status report on
organization of 2004 outside H1 collaboration
Meeting in Budva in
Montenegro (http://wwwh1.mppmu.mpg.de/H1CollMeet/).
During the stay of dr Raicevic in Hamburg, request for
financial support
for stays of Montenegro physicists in Germany was sent
toward the DFG -
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (http://www.dfg.de/en/)
(3 years project).
